Northboro.com is the local online website for Northborough Massachusetts, a central Mass town that was incorporated as a town in 1766 after it branched off from Marlborough and Westborough and is located along Routes 20, 495, 290, 9, and the Mass Pike Route 90.
Northborough utilizes an open town meeting grass roots government and now operates under its own home rule charter. The governing body consists of five elected members of the town's select board and the town membership of registered voters.
Take a ride down route 20 and visit the town of Northborough that provides the setting for several working farms. It is also host to a burgeoning research and development oriented industrial park. Primarily the town serves as a residential area acting as a rural home to Boston and Worcester commuters.
